A note from Pastor regarding his sermon:
Alleluia! Christ is risen!
We awake this morning to the glorious news that our Savior Jesus Christ has risen from the dead, having defeated the power of sin and death so that we, too, may rise again to new life! As we celebrate this gospel message, we hear words that are familiar and comforting, about events that truly give us reason to be joyous. But we should also detect a theme that emerges in these readings, and that will be with us throughout the rest of the church year: Now that our salvation has been won by Jesus Christ, we are instructed to spread this wonderful news throughout the world.
