A note from Pastor regarding the service:

The Easter Vigil may occur on the day of Holy Week in which the disciples hid themselves in fear, uncertain what they should do now that their Lord had died. But for the Christian Church, we celebrate with the knowledge that God’s plan of salvation has been fulfilled, and that we will rise the next morning to the glorious news that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead. On this evening, though, we contemplate the long history of God’s people as they waited for their Savior to arrive, and we remember how the Sacrament of Holy Baptism unites us with Christ so that we die and rise just as He did!
