good friday
Sermon
A note from Pastor regarding the service:
The Good Friday service continues the Triduum, and we remember especially on this evening the suffering and death of our Lord Jesus Christ upon the cross, paying the price of our sins. This service is somber, beginning and ending in silence and ending in darkness as we consider the terrible price our Savior was willing to pay to spare us of the everlasting punishment we deserved. And yet, we leave the service with the confidence in our salvation conveyed by Jesus’ last words from the cross: “It is finished.”
