Sermon
A note from Pastor regarding his sermon:
Whether John the Baptist sends his disciples to Jesus to ask about His identity for his own sake or theirs, the answer that Jesus gives them provides all of us with the confidence of trusting in Him as our true Savior and the Chosen One of God. But as Jesus describes John as the Bible’s promised prophet to prepare the way for the Messiah, He asks questions about His audience’s beliefs about John that we may very well ask ourselves as we prepare to welcome Christ once more on Christmas: What are we going out to Bethlehem to see? Who do we say Jesus really is?
