A note from Pastor regarding his sermon:

Our Old Testament and Gospel readings for this week both use the image of a vineyard to pass judgment on God’s unfaithful people. God has done so much to give us life, to bless us with all that we need to support our lives, and to live peacefully with Him and with one another. And yet, we sin… time and time again! We ignore God’s commands, even when He simply instructs us how we are designed to live and in what we will find our greatest fulfillment. We chase after other gods and the desires of our corrupted hearts. We even ignore, abuse, or kill the men God sends to warn us of our disobedience and its consequences.

God tell us what He will do because of the vineyard’s rebellion, and what He will do to those who kill His messengers. But this is not the end of the story… We may still ask, “What will become of the vineyard?”
