Sermon

A note from Pastor regarding his sermon:

Perhaps one of the most astonishing parts of the story of Jesus’ feeding of the five thousand who had followed Him around the Sea of Galilee to a desolate place is the instruction He gives to His disciples when they encourage Him to send the crowd away and find something to eat: “They need not go away; you give them something to eat.” We know that Christ has the power to feed such a large group even though they have only five loaves of bread and two fish, and He will soon demonstrate that power. But what must the disciples have thought when Jesus first instructed them to feed the people? And what might that instruction reveal to us?
